Question
I am trying to restore my Grandmothers antique sewing machine and cabinet. The left side support between the drawers and cabinet opening is badly damaged. Can you help with finding one to replace it or recommend someone to make a new one to replace it?
Hi Michael, any good Cabinet maker/Furniture maker should be able to repair or remake the existing support. You won't be able to find a replacement, (unless you find an old machine with the same support), where are you located? A few calls to some reputable Antique dealers should help you find a good Restorer- they'll know who's good in your area......regards- Greg
