Question
We have EA Georgian Court triple dresser that has two deep scratches about 6 " long.  I used their touch up pen and it the color looks good but the gouge in noticeable. My husband has an air gun and pot sprayer.  Can I fill in the gouge, sand the top and respray the whole top?  Or, is some other process necessary?

Hi Irene, if you fill them and and sand the top, and then respray the clear, you'll likely still see them...there is also the technique of filling them with the clear coat and sanding the surface smooth and respraying. Likely this is lacquer, is your husband familiar with working with lacquer? If you want an invisible repair, the only way is to strip the top and refinish to match....it really all depends on his/your experience and skill level....post back if need be- regards- Greg
