Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/Computer desk hinge

Question

Desk keyboard tray
My computer desk has a pull-out keyboard tray with a front on it that folds down before I roll out the tray.  The hinge has become very floppy, resting on my knees when I'm sitting at the desk.  Can they be tightened or will I need to replace the hinges?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Jean, did it always open 180 degrees (hanging straight down) like that? There is really no way to tighten the hinges...they wear and eventually get loose.....and finding a radius end hinge like that, that is a direct replacement, may not be easy. It looks like a good quality desk, perhaps if there's a manufacturers stamp or mark somewhere, they can furnish you with a set of new ones......post back if need be- regards- Greg
