Question
Hello, I have recently purchased a round oak pedestal table with 1 leaf. It was very cheap because it has some blemishes so I have decided to paint it rather than refinish it with stain. I have painted the table an deep espresso brown and contemplating what color to pain my chairs. I am toying with the idea of using another color that compliments the rest of my decor and ties them together...any thoughts or ideas on this? My husband is having a difficult time with my vision so I want to know if I am totally off the wall or this is done by others?
Hey Marsha, it's 2011....pretty much anything goes as far as colors, combining styles,etc ...whatever makes you happy is just fine in my opinion, (although your husband may not agree :-)
I guess the best news is that in Woodworking and finishing...if you don't like the end result, you can strip it off and start over.....post back if need be - regards- Greg
