Question
Hi,

I am restoring an antique dresser and pulled out old rusty 2" x 1" objects that prevented the drawers from sliding too far back to the back of the dresser.

For the life of me, I can't find these online because I can't seem to find what they are called.  If I look up 'drawer stops', I get things that will prevent the drawer from coming out, but the things I'm looking for will stop the drawer from pushing in too far.  

They are placed on the dresser, not the drawers, and, when the drawers slide in and out, they leave two lines on the bottoms of the dresser drawers.

Can you let me know what these are called and possibly lead me to a link where I could order some?

Hi Julie, I think I've encountered these type of things before,there were many variations on the theme... but you will not find a source for them I fear. You'll have to make a wooden equivalent stop block, a common thing for these....post back if need be- regards- Greg
