Greg,
I recently purchased a rosewood cabinet. It is stained and oiled and easy to look after on the exterior. Problem is everytime I wipe it inside, red staining comes off on the cloth. What do I do to stop this so I can put my clothes inside without fear of them getting red stained? Cheers, Cathy

Hi Cathy, is this new furniture? It's likely Tung oil and it can take months to fully cure. You could wipe down the inside with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits, and that would help hasten the curing process and remove any excess oil/stain. Then put a fan on the piece so it's blowing across the inside, and open a window...it might take a day or two to dry and stop smelling, but that should be a marked improvement.
