Question
I would like to have some bespoke floating shelves (capable of supporting books) put up either side of the fireplace in my living room.  I would also like to have a bespoke cupboard built into one of the alcoves.  I'm struggling to find a workman that specialises in this.  Do you have any recommendations?

I'm not sure I can help you, but I will try. But I need more information. Where are you located?

If you are in the US, there are a few woodworking organizations that have member lists you can search. This will allow you to find a woodworker in your area, see their website, and view their work before you even speak to them.

But- as I mentioned - I need to know if you're in the US. If not, I really can't help that much, as I am not too familiar with woodworkers outside of the US.
