Question
Hi Eileen!
I see in another post that you wrote the formula for the Heywood Wakefield
Champagne finish. I am looking for the Wheat finish formula. Do you have that?
Thank you!
Rachel

Answer
Hi again Rachel
I have been searching as promised for the formula with no luck.
In my searching I happened to come across this that I thought you might be interested in.
I never knew Heywood sold their restoration kits till now so I learned something today.
And certainly easier for you too.

Good Luck again

Hi again Rachel
Sorry I cannot come up with the formula you want.
Darn darn, I just cannot find it in any of my books.
I am thinking I must have gotten it on line or from someone by email.
All I can do Rachel is promise if I find it you will get it.
Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
