Question
HI,

I wanted to know if you ever found the formula for the wheat toner/sealer. There is a guy in GA. who sells it on E-bay. but I could save time if I could make it myself.

thanx
Mark

Answer
Hi Again Mark
Thanks for the link.
I have it book marked for future reference as I would hate to continually get such bad ratings for such an obscure topic.

Eileen

Hi Mark
Nice to hear from you.
After I posted that I was looking, I did indeed look high and low...no luck.
Coincidentally there used to be a Heywood Wakefield factory just 20 miles from my home in Orillia Ont. Canada. I knew an old fellow who worked there for many years.
I actually asked him about this formula and he could not help, but I've tried.
And I will definately post it if its found.
Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
