Question
We have brand new bedroom furniture with a dark espresso finish. Our wonderful French bulldog gnawed on the bed frame and lingerie cabinet down to the light wood (not very deep). How do you suggest we repair the area? The areas are about two inches wide and one inch high.

Nice to hear from you.
First get a small can of Minwax stain in dark walnut or mahogany.
Dap that on with a rag.
Then you could rub the area with one of those wax filler crayons from the hardware. They are made for this and come in lots of colors.
