Answer
Hi Kristen
Nice to hear from you.
Your a girl after my own heart LOL.
I get all my scraps from my local lumber yard.
Most lumber yards cut wood for their customers and have lots of scraps.
They always have a scrap bin which you can scrounge...I do.
Also make the contact of any local home shop builders.
Most are more than happy to get rid of their scraps and certainly a better quality wood can be found from these people.
Repeated trips to get more should warrant an occasional homemade pie. This does wonders for co-operation.
Good luck
Kindest Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
