Question
Hi, My wife and I live in an old church that was remodeled into a home. It still has the steeple on it and I would like to finish off the area where the bell was into a small study or"studio". I have ideas in my head on where to put the entrance to this room. My wife came up with the idea of making it a hidden door with a secret latch to open it. We have seen them on " If Walls Could Talk". My question is do you know where I could get plans or ideas on how to make a hidden latch. In my mind I can't even begin to figure out how to do it and I'm pretty good at figuring things out usually. I think I could do the hidden door part with out too much trouble. Thank you for any help you can give me,
Rod

Answer
Simply do a search for "hidden doors".  There are plenty of sites out there. Most are for hidden bookcase doors but a bit of looking and you will find what you need. there are plenty of DIY and hardware sites also.  Sorry i couldn't be of more specific help but good luck with your interesting project.
