Question Hi Gary,
Sure hope your the man for me on fixing this problem. I accidently spilled a small amount of super glue on my kitchen counter. Is there any way to remove it? Along the same line, there's also a bit of wood stain on the counter too. Hoping you have some suggestions for me. Many thanks, Sue
Answer Hi Sue,
You didn't say what kind of countertop you have. I'll assume it's Formica since that's the most common.
Use acetone. You can find it at most hardware or paint stores. First try it on a small spot that doesn't show...under the toaster or something. Acetone is very powerful, but it'll remove the glue and the wood stain. Make sure there are no flames or sparks around and open the windows. It's highly flammable.
