Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/platform bed

Question
What thickness of plywood would you use for a platform bed?

Answer
Hi Ben,

Every plan I've ever seen for platform beds uses 3/4" plywood. Please be aware that if the platform doesn't have some support in the middle, it will sag, even with 3/4" material.  So if the bed is a big one, you might want to plan of some sort of center brace to keep it firm.

OK, I hope this helps. Please feel free to write back if you have any further questions after reading this. And if this answer was helpful... please take a minute and rate my service. Thanks!
