Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/repairing noisy bed

Question
I just read your answer to the question pertaining to the
"wobbly" bed problem.  I have the similar bed type with metal rails and wooden head/foot boards & the slits in the bedposts for the rails to hook into.  We have had to glue the posts a couple of times & now every time you move in the bed, the bed creaks!  Will the suggested repair for the wobbly bed work to stop the creaking as well?  The metal frame is new so it's got to be the head/foot boards.

Answer
Hi Shelia
Nice to hear from you.
Glad folks read our answers.
Certainly give my remedy a try...nothing ventured nothing gained...or in this case lost LOL.
These connections should be snug, but unfortunalely a lot of people experience the same thing.
Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
