Question
I don't know if I have the right area or not but I will take the chance and ask anyway. My computer chair squeaks really bad whenever you move in it and I was wondering what I can do to get rid of the annoying squeaking?Thank You Wayne.

Answer
Hi Wayne
Sure you have the right place, if I can provide the right answer LOL
First you must locate the squeak.
If its metal on metal, some oil is needed, and all the nuts need tightening.
If its wood on wood, and an area that has come loose, some wood glue is needed.
Funny enough when I move my pc chair the darn thing squeaks.
Never bothered me till you mentioned it.
But seriously, you have to locate the squeaking area.
Looking at my own chair here, its metal and wood, but its squeaking in the back rest section, and I see the it could use some tightening.
Thanks for a great question.
Good Luck

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
