Question
My daughter placed a sticker ( non-adhesive) to the cabinet door of her white
finished armoir.  Although there isn't a sticker residue, it left a light blue stain
(in the shape of a snoman!).  Is there anything that was remove/fade this stain??

Answer
Hi Ellen
Nice to hear from you.
My kids used to do these things too.
Use full strength household bleach.
Just dampen a rag with some and hold it there for a bit while rubbing too.
The kids wrote on my table with permanent marker and the bleach took it off fine. It was not all in one application and each day for 3 days I rubbed it with bleach. After day one I feared I was going to have to live with it, but its gone.
Hope this helps
Good Luck and great question...brought back memories LOL
Kindest Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
