hello sir,i hope you would help me in connecting my laptop to the TV. the problem is i've only got one port in my laptop,the one that looks like the port in which we connect the monitor of the PC "VGA port" i guess. anyway, i've only got this one, and searched in many stores for one but i couldn't find. but i have a rond shape cable,,they told me that this one is what i'm looking for. my question is: is there in any way to cut this cable and attach the PC monitor cable so that it works ??

Dear Sir,
Try one of these links below to see if this is the cable you may be needing. It is very difficult to know kind of vga cable you may have and not knowing the color code. It is much safer to buy the already made adapter. I hope this has helped.
