Question
Greg,
I too have a yucca plant that is about 5 feet tall with three branches. One of the branches broke off about 18" from the top. Will the lower portion of that branch produce new growth? I have removed all the leaves below the break on that branch.

Answer
Larry,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Actually, yet it should branch from below the break. If it does, the branches should emerge about 5 inches or so below the break. If not, it should still produce new shoots from around the base of the plant. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
