I've loved this cactus for 10 years, last night we had a wind storm and a shingle blew off of my house. (guillotine) and took a slice of skin a 2 inches by 6 inches and a half inch deep. Should i let it heal on its own. Or should i seal it with some paint? or another product? I don't know what to do... Please help

Answer Hello Robert,
Sorry for the late response. For some reason, AllExperts was not notifying me questions. Regardless, the wound will heal, but it will leave a scar behind. Nothing is required, but I reccomend leaving it in a cool area to prevent infections.
