Cactus/Aloe Vera plant yellowing

Question
For the past 5 years, my green cactus has grown beautifully here in Central Florida. It has produced several little green ones that live at its base.  It also has had flowering sprouts. The last week or so, it and the little ones have started to yellow.  It is approximately 30" x 30".  Is it getting too big for a pot?

Answer
Deb,

It is hard to say. You can try some fertilizer (like Superthrive for example). If it greens up, then that is the problem. Also, if it was exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat and is not used to it, that will also cause the plant to yellow. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
