Question
I have 2 aloe veras and want to move them, I see from other questions submitted that Fall is best to transplant; but what I am wondering is can I transplant them in full sun and how will that effect them in the summer?  Will that kill them when we get over 100 degrees?  Thanks...

Answer
Dear Melissa,

If they are currently growing in full sun, then yes. If they are in the shade, yes but with some precautions. Aloe vera grows just fine here in the Phoenix area in full sun, but will need some extra water in summer. If you are moving them from shade, make sure to provide some shade for a couple of months and the gradually remove it. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
