Cactus/Baseball plant brown spots

Question
What could cause my baseball plant (succulent) to get orange/brown spots?  Also, it is growing upward/taller rather than staying round. Thx for any help.

Answer
Judy,

Without seeing a picture of the spots, I'm not sure what the problem could be. (you can send to gregandkat@msn.com if you have a pic of the damage. However, the elongation of your plant is caused by a lack of light. Most cacti and succulents need very strong light to grow properly. No direct sun, but very bright light is best for your plant.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
