Question
I just found out that someone broke my cactus. It is broke from the bottom can I reroot the plant? If so how do I go about it? Right now I have about 12 inches of cactus just laying on its side. Thanks

Answer
Sonya,

Yes it should be possible. Let it sit for at least 2 weeks. Then, once the broken part has fully scabbed over, plant it in a "cactus mix" soil and water. Do not water again until the soil is dry. It my take a few months to root and start to grow so be patient. Good luck!

Sincerely,

Greg
