Question
I noticed on my small cactus that there was on spot where the spike is turned a yellowish color and now i notice all underneath the cactus near the soil is yellow or patchy... I am not sure what kind of cactus it is but it basicaly is just a round cactus the size of a baseball with the spikes in it... i was hoping to save the cactus before it dies! It was growing before but i havent noticed the spikes getting bigger.. please help!

Answer
Dear Elisa,

If that part of the plant has also gone soft, then there is nothing you can do. If the plant is still firm then just make sure you aren't over watering or have it in direct sunlight. Water only when the soil is dry and keep it in the brightest light possible without being in direct sunlight. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
