Question
Any guesses?  What is this?
I'm posting in "cactuss" because some palms and cactusses  have simular traits.

Description:
Picture a porcupine with long [2-3ft] green spikes all curled in a ball on top of a skinny tree trunk.
any guesses would be apreciated.

Answer
p.s. I hope I helped you, if that isn't it I really am not sure.  Sorry about my previous response.....I was talking to someone while typing and sent it off without finishing it up.

Hi Mike,

My first (and only-LOL) guess would be the Yucca family.  Look at Joshua trees online and see if that's it.  Or try a search for yucca+pictures and see what comes up.

I have been serious about gardening for the past 10 years. I live in the high desert. We xeriscaped our front yard with cactus, daylilies, iris, roses and drought tolerant herbs.
