Question
I have what was called (when I purchased it)a cardboard cactus.  Now I can't find out anything about this plant or what it's botanical name is so I can care for my plant.  Currently it has a new frond yet all the other branches leaves are turning brown and falling off.  Is this normal?  Am I doing something wrong?

Answer
Dear Ann,

I am not familiar with that plant by its common name. However, could it be a cycad? That is a plant related to ferns & pine trees. Check out this website and let me know if this is the plant.
