Cactus/Christmas Cactus

Question
Hi Greg,
We have had our Christmas cactus for several years now, has always done well. This year though, the past couple of months has produced limp stems. It sits by the deck doors, and yes, we do use them occasionally but only for moments at a time. It is in direct light during the day so maybe this could be a problem too? It just did bloom a few weeks ago so we know it is still alive. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dan

Answer
Dan,

Sorry in the delay in getting back to you. Based on my experience with them, make sure that the soil is moist but not wet. Also, try to keep the temperature above 50 degrees (don't know if it is outside or not) and it is best not to have it in direct sun. Morning sun would be OK, but indirect sunlight in the afternoon would be best. Hope this helps.
