Question
What does it mean to let heal?  When talking about replanting

Answer
Kara,

If you are referring to after you take a "cutting", that means the the cut part must scab over and become hard prior to replanting. If you were to immediately plant it, it would most like rot. The healing that takes place keeps out the bad stuff that will cause rot.

If you are referring to transplanting, all plants got into shock and need to rest (or heal) for a while before they start to grow. Hopefully this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
