Cactus/Jade plant

Question
I bought a Jade plant at Lowe's 3 weeks ago. I have it on a screened porch getting afternoon sun and it is doing well.
When can I repot it in a larger pot and bring it inside? What size pot? I want it to grow large. It will only get morning sun.

Answer
Linda,

When can I repot it in a larger pot and bring it inside? Any time you like. Just remember large pots are heavy and tough to move and a large Jade plant makes it that much heavier. If you are planning to move your Jade plant in and out of the house, you may want to consider that.

What size pot? Generally cacti and succulents do very well when they are root bound, however, as long as the plant will have good drainage, any size that you are comfortable with will work...just remember what I said about the weight of the plant.  Good luck!

Sincerely,

Greg
