Question
Dear Greg,

I'm not sure what kind of cactus I have. They each are about 7' tall w/tall trunks, flat branches and it they have some leaves. They're not covered w/prickles but do have some. I need to move them and also repot them.

Answer
Dear Reta,

If you are asking about identification, it sounds like a Euphorbia to me. There is only a couple of cacti that get that tall & have leaves and those are very spiny. Beyond that I can't identify the species without a picture.

If your asking about repotting, with a 7' plant you will need help from a few friends. Make sure to use "cactus mix" potting soil and a pot that is at least 3" - 4" larger diameter than your current pot. If you can send me a picture of the plant, I can give you better advice as far as what it is and how to replant it. Thanks! Send a pic to greg8365@hotmail.com

Sincerely,

Greg
