Cactus/Removal of cacti in a pasture.

We have a pasture full of cacti. How can we remove them?
Dear Margaret,
There is no easy way to do that. If you can dig them up and throw them away, that would be the most effective and quickest way. There are natural ways, but that can take years and I would need to know what type of cactus we are talking about. If you can tell me the type of cactus it is, or better yet send me a picture, I may be able to give you a better answer.
