Question
Durung a recent monsoon one of my Saguaro cacti was pushed over. Will it recover if I replant it? It's about 10ft. tall/long. How does one stand a cactus up?

Answer
Dear Greg,

It may survive, unless it was bruised too badly or broke/cracked when it fell. You won't know until you upright it. A cactus that big will weigh over 1,000 lbs, so unless you hire someone to do it for you, you will need at least 4 big men to move it.

If you have never moved a cactus that big, I don't reccomend it because if you did get it upright and it happened to fall on someone, it could do a lot of damage. Paying someone to do it would be a lot less expensive than replacing it. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
