Cactus/Spots on my Euphorbia Lactea Crest

Question
Hi,
I have my lactea both inside and out, and they all have formed brown spots on the crest. As the crest grows, they elongate. They didn't come like that, but within 2 months, they all have the spots. What are they, and is there any way to rid my beautiful crests of them?

Answer
Gretchen,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been having a lot of computer issues that I think are now fixed. I would need to see a picture of the spots. Most times, they are caused by insects or by getting poked by other plants (the damage may take a long time to show). If you can, please send a pic to: gregandkat@msn.com and I will try to determine the cause of the damage. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Greg
