Question
I have an aloe plant that has gotten rather large - it is now falling to one side.  I have seen some of your posts about "trailing aloe", but since it's in a pot with no place to "trail" or root - what do I do ?  Stake it up ?  Let it just fall over and go where it will ?  I don't want to hurt this plant, even though I know I overwatered it (mushrooms were growing at it's base) it still is hanging in there and looking healthy, except for some of the lower leaves - should I cut those off ?

I apologize for the delay in responding. I am having trouble retrieving my questions. Yes, you can stake it up, that won’t hurt it at all. You could also replant it in a much deeper pot if you like as well. As far as the lower leaves go. Let them dry up on their own, then pull them off and discard them. And, you only need to water when the soil is dry. That should help take care of your mushrooms as well. Hope this helps.
