Question
i recently planted a aloe vera plant and it was doing real fine for about 6weeks,but now it is turning yellow can you please advise? ps i planted this from a clipping from an adult plant.

Answer
Dear Billy,

If it's turning yellow, that's not a good sign. One of two things are happening. First, it could be that it isn't getting enough sunlight. Without sunlight, chlorophyll isn't produced so the plant turns yellow, then white.

It also could be from over watering the plant. If you've watered it more than twice in six weeks, it's been too much. Cut back on the watering and move the plant to an area that has strong, but indirect light. Hopefully this helps!  Good Luck.

Sincerely,

Greg
