Question
I recently started cleaning out my cactus garden, eliminating some cacti so as to replant others and discovered black beetles with pinchers living, destroying and basically turning to mush my blue agaves...HELP.. can I get rid of them before they destroy my entire cactus garden??? Will they attack any other cactus besides the agaves?  Thank you, michelle

Answer
Michelle,

Fortunately, they only like Agave (and Yucca). Take a look at this web page on how to treat your problem. Hope this helps. I have the same issue and this treatment works.
