Question
I have a 6 -7 foot cactus 1. the top broke off so i am following your advice you gave someone else.
the rest of the plant seems to just stay the same (doesn't grow much)  it also has lots of dry brown sides.
I give it cactus fertiliser as called for & wipe dust off it etc. anything else i can do?

Answer
Susette,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Is there any green left in the plant? If there is no green at all, it is either dead or too woody to sprout any branches. If there is green, this time of year most plants go dormant, so I would not expect much growth. You'll know for sure in the spring if your plant is OK. If there is no growth however, it may have perished. Hope that is not the case.

Sincerely,

Greg
