Question
hello i dropped my poor cactus! it had broken inhalf - will it ever grow
together again? it is about 17 years old and in a pot. aout 18 inches in length.
the break in about 8 inches from the bottom.

please help.

desperate....

I am sorry for the delay in answering you, have had some computer issues that are now resolved. Unfortunately not. You can try grafting it to itself (see: http://www.cactus-and-succulents.com/text/grafting-cactus-and-succulents.htm )

However, this is not for a beginner, but if you want to try it, it may just work. Your plant should be OK without the surgery. Good luck.
