Question
how do cactus transpire?

Answer
Dear Samir,

Generally speaking, the same as other plants, however the process of transpiration in a cactus happens at night. The stomata open at night in order to minimize the moisture that is lost during the transpiration process. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Sincerely,

Greg
