Question
I have a very tall cactus that unfortunately fell over, there is damage to the side, although above the damage healthy growth has appeared.  What is the best thing to do, cut the top and repot, cut the damaged section out? don't want tolose the plant, a couple of smaller stems are not affected.

thanks

Answer
M,

If it is growing just fine, I would leave it alone. If you can't stand to look at the damage, you can cut it out but no matter what you do, it will be scarred in some way. The smaller stems may eventually cover the damage. As I said, I would leave it be. If you want to cut and re-pot, please let me know and I will go over that process with you. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
