Question
My cactus is wilting, turning yellow and rotting in spots.  I was wondering what this could be and if I can save it, what do you think I can do. Thank you.

Answer
Suzanne,

I am sorry for the delay in answering you, have had some computer issues that are now resolved. Based on your description, it doesn't sound like there is a lot to work with at this point. Typically this time of the year, a Euporbia rots because of too much water. Cactus and succulents need to be watered when their soil dries out. Too much and too little water can cause the same type of symptoms although I can not be certain which is the case with your plant.. Sorry for the bad news.

Sincerely,

Greg
