Question
i have a hearty healthy christmas cactus that endured a move this year and never did bloom-however worse now is that it froze one night in the porch and is now weak and droopy all over- is there anything i can do? will it heal?i hope so-was my grandmothers and has been doing so well prior to the freeze.

Answer
Jennifer,

Unfortunately, the Christmas cactus is actually from a rain forest, so they do not tolerate cold very well and frost not at all. If you let it be, don't over water it, there is a slim chance it may continue to grow. You should know within a few weeks if it is going to make it (it will be obvious). Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
