Question
help! grandma has inherited her mothers christmas cactus which at one time was a huge vibrant plant.
Whats left? Well two limp stems that droop over its pot. Is there any hope for great grandmas once lovely cactus? If the steam is not completely rotten is it possible to repot and hope for new growth? Or should I try to break the news to Grandma that its a goner? Thanks

Answer
Dear Jessica,

It doesn't sound good and replanting it might finish it off if it is already stressed. Check out these sites for care instructions. At this pint, try a product called Superthrive. It work fantastically as a transplant shock protector, and it may help to restore the root system of your plant. Hope this helps, good luck.
