Question
HOW COLD OF A TEMPATURE WILL THESE PLANTS TOLERATE. WHERE I LIVE GET ABOUT 30DEGREES SHOULD I BRING THEM IN. WHEN CAN I REPOT THEM ? THANK U

Answer
Dear Jan,

Different cacti can take differing temperatures. There are cactus native into Canada and some in the jungles of South America. I would need to know the names if possible, or at least a very good description. If you have photos, that would even be better.

However, most common cacti that are readily available should not be below 40 degrees unless aclimated. You should repot whenever a plant gets too top heavy. Again, pictures would help. You can send pictures to greg8365@yahoo.com if you have any.

Sincerely,

Greg
