Well I got a red moon plant this year. About two weeks ago and  many people are telling me that it won't grow very big. This come to a concern because for one, the plant is about a good 3 inches and I want to get big like my fathers other cactus's. Any information on how to take care of this plant would be helpful and also a specific life span

There is no specific life span, however they do not live long and do not get much larger than the size you bought it at. Check out this website for care instructions (the article for your plant is about 1/2 way down the page. Hope this helps.
