Cactus/poisonous for children

House plants to avoid for young children...crown of thorn cactus is it hazardous for crawlers & young walkers??
Dear Susan,
All Euphorbia's are poisonous and that is what a "crown of thorns" is. In Euphorbia's, the sap that is in all parts of the plant can range from an irritant to deadly depending on the variety. I would avoid having Euphorbia's around small children.
