Cactus/removing a large agave cactus

Question
I have a 5' by 5' agave outgrowing the yard and becoming a danger to anyone using the nearby sidewalk.  I would like to move it and replant it but am afraid it is so large it may pull up the concrete walk because there are several 'baby' plants growing too.  Should I wet the area, have a professional or do you have any ideas?  Thanks so much.

Answer
Vicki,

If it is that big, you may want to have a professional do it, if for no other reason that it is very dangerous to work with large Agaves. The roots should be pretty shallow, so no need to worry about the sidewalk. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
