Cactus/Can I replant my cactus

Question
I have a 5' cactus, with a 3' offspring, in a pot.  They needed to be repotted and fell last night, breaking into several pieces. Is there anyway to save them?

Answer
Ann,

Yes, just let the broken pieces "heal" for a couple of weeks and then replant in a cactus mix type of soil. Water well then don't water again until the soil is dry. It can take up to a couple of months to root so please be patient. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Greg
