Cactus/sick hens and chicks

Question
I gave a friend of mine many, many, baby hens and chicks and planted them in
two huge pots. They now have white looking mites on them and small black
bugs. Also 2 of the are growing straight up in the air as opposed to my usual
round hens. I've been doing this for years and have never had this problem.
Okay...where did we go wrong? Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Answer
Tracy,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been having a lot of computer issues that I think are now fixed. Well the bugs can come from other plants, and can be controlled with pesticide. The other issue sounds like a lack of sunlight. Cacti usually react like that to low light situations.

Hope this helps,

Greg
